Narrative Reflection

After doing all of the challenges in each core values, I’ve realized
a lot of things. I realized that NSTP subjects is very important in college
because it helps the students to become aware of the situation of our
country. There’s a lot of ways to help our community.
Just like what we did, by sharing the word of God; we can inspire
people to do good things, we can make them feel loved and appreciated,
we can help them if they have problems and it helps them to improve
their relationship with God. It feels great to share the word of God and
see them being closer to Him. Next one is eating dinner with my family.
This is my favorite part of the day because we are complete and we talk
a lot of things and ask how’s their day. This helps me to become
determined to finish my studies and help them in the near future. My
parents are very important, without them I am nothing. The other two
challenges were wearing a barong and picking up trash in the streets. I
enjoyed this challenge because I did it with my friend and cousin. It
feels good to promote nationalism by wearing a barong just for few
hours. And the other one is picking up trash in our place. I didn’t pick it
up because there’s a lot of them that’s why I used broom to collect them
all and put it in the sack.
One thing that comes to my mind after all of the challenge is to
practice it always. Because the others might be inspired and do it also.
By this, we can have an amazing society. Also, I learned to appreciate
small things, appreciate my family and friends that’s always there for
me. I am very thankful for this activity.
