    AUDITION SCENE:

    INT. EDI’S FAMILY PROPERTY/BEDROOM - DAY 4

    ‘World music’ plays gently in the background, as we see EDI,


    a vision of calm in her turban and wedding dress, as GABBY
    does her make up and AUNTY DER finishes off her turban. KA is
    next to them, lighting sage, her turban is perfectly
    positioned and her dress floats like a heavenly cloud over
    her pregnant belly. It’s all picture perfect until...

    JANE
    (silly deep voice)
    Top up ladieees?

    Jane locks eyes with Aunty Der for what seems like an eternity,.
    Her oracle eyes seem to bore into Jane’s core. Then Aunty Der
    points to the champagne. And thrusts her cup towards Jane.

    AUNTY DER
    Champagne. Big cup.

    END.
