SURVEY REPORT ON URBAN HOUSING DEMAND FOR HOUSING

SHORTAGE IN INDIA According to the estimates made by the
Technical Group, constituted by the
Ministry of Housing & Urban Poverty
Alleviation, Government of India, for
assessment of the urban housing shortage
at the start of the 11th Five Year Plan
(2007-2011), the total housing shortage in
the country was 24.71 million.

As on 2012, only 24% of this demand had

been addressed.

The 12th Five Year plan (2012 – 17)

states the estimated housing requirement
till 2017 to be 18.78 millions.

The need to meet the huge demand over a

short span of time is a challenge
TOTAL- 18.78 MILLION

ESSENTIALS FOR MONOLITHIC CONCRETE

MONOLITHIC CONSTRUCTION
CONSTRUCTION
 Highly workable concrete mix

• A structure in which all

the components like walls,
slabs, staircases,
sunshades etc are cast
monolithically at one time  Pre-engineered formwork system

using one homogenous

material - Concrete

 Reinforcement
