EXERCISE
1. What is change blindness
Change blindness is a condition where the differences between two version of a
pictures are not immediately apparent.

2. While watching an action movie, you notice that during a car stunt, the actor
seems different. Your roommate tells you it is most likely a stunt double. How
is this an example of change detection?
Change detection is the process of identifying changes and differences that happen
around us. We can notice the differences of the actor to stunt double during the car
stunt scene, it shows that we can identifying the changes.

3. You are driving in your car, singing alone with the radio, when your cell phone
is rings. Since you are driving you do not answer it and continue to sing along,
except the song on the radio changed and you did not notice. Why did you
have trouble detecting the song change?
We could not detect the song changes due to selective attention where we able to
focus only in singing and ignore all others. We filter out the new information as an
unattended message. Therefore, inattentional blindness occur. When we are
focusing in one thing, we have no idea what changes has happen even when you are
listening to the radio.

4. You take your dog, a black Labrador, down to the dog park and let him off his
leash to run around and play. You watch him play with two other dogs,
including another black Labrador. When it is time to go, you put on the leash
on your dog and start for home. A woman comes running up to you and tells
you have the wrong dog. When you look down you notice she is right because
your dog is taller. Explain what might have happened using a change
blindness framework.
Change blindness occur when I could not notice a difference between two black
Labrador dog. It happens because I am not paying attention to my Labrador dog that
make me wrongly take another dog but when I am paying attention and look closer to
the dogs, I can notice the height difference of two dogs. Change blindness make us
think that both dogs are same.
