BSMA-3A ASYNCHRONOUS ACTIVITY 2

1. Explain the role/importance of human behavior on the story.

- How people behave plays an important role in every aspect of man’s life. Human
behavior for me has two kinds. First is how we act in front of everyone and the second is
how we act when nobody is looking. The way we act when someone is looking is what
we want to be perceived or to be seen by others. Sometimes it’s the fake you because the
actions are not genuine nor real. Just like some tv shows where there are a lot of cameras
that recording every happening in your life. The way we act when nobody is looking is
the real you because there are no eyes to be satisfied, no expectations to be met and no
hands that will applaud. Its free from judgement and you’re just following the voices in
your head saying what you wanted to do. Behavior is important as it shapes our
personality and helps us in building a good character. You learn to present yourself in a
better way for the other person to understand you and for you to be able to understand
him/her. In the story of a dog who was killed by the mother unbeknownst to her that the
former saves her son from a poisonous snake, it is important to understand why she acted
like that in the given situation. Unlike her husband that grew up with that dog she didn’t
know the dog per se. She thought that the dog did something bad to her baby because of
the blood in its mouth not thinking to check her baby first. What she did is stabbed the
dog to death not until she saw a dead snake beside her sleeping son. From there we can
say that the dog saves her son from the snake that is why the dog has blood in its mouth.
Maybe she has a bad experience with a dog when she was young but that doesn’t justify
what she did. Killing is bad whether it is a human or an animal.

2. If you will make a new ending of the story, what will it be? Write and state the last
paragraph to arrive on your desired kind of ending.
- When she arrived, the dog was in the door with blood in his mouth, without second
thought she stabbed the dog to death until she finally saw the baby sleeping very soundly
with a dead snake beside him. And there she feels bad for herself for killing her
husband’s dog. The dog did not do anything bad to her baby and it saves it from a
poisonous snake. Without the dog maybe her son is now dead from a snake bite. Now she
was on her knees holding the dead body of the dog that had saved her son's life at the
same time as her tears were falling, she felt intense remorse.
