Dhal Curry

Ingredients:
Dhal ¼ Cup
Garlic cloves 3-4 (cut into small pieces)
Chili Powder 1 Tea spoonful
Chili Pieces 1 Tea spoonful
Turmeric Powder 1 Tea spoonful
Coconut Milk 1 Cup
Salt 1 Tea spoonful
Rampe, Karapincha, Maldive fish

 Put Dhal into a bowl & add water. Water level should be above dhal.
 Soak for ½ hour.
 Wash dhal well (3-4 times) & put into clay pot.
 Add Salt, Chili Powder, Garlic cloves, Turmeric Powder & Maldive fish onto
dhal & add 2 cups of water.
 Mix well. Keep the pot on gas cooker. (Medium heat)
 Boil dhal until no water in the pot. (If dhal looks still un-boiled, add some
more water & keep under medium heat until no water seen)
 Then add Chili Pieces, Rampe, Karapincha & coconut milk. Mix well. Keep
under low heat.
 When the broth boils a bit, taste to see whether salt is enough. If not, add a
bit of more salt.
 Mix well while cooking. Do not let the curry to boil over the pot.
