Installation instruction for Cargo Optimizer

1) On the installation setup process,

You need to choose database unit system on “Custom Setup” page

If you use Imperial unit system (lbs., inch),

Please set “Data for Imperial unit system (lbs., inch)” as follow;

And then click “Next >” to next step

If you use Metric unit system (kg., cm.),
Please set “Data for Metric unit system (kg., cm,.)” as follow;

And then click “Next >” to next step

Note:

1. If you don’t choose any data to install, software will not execute.
2. If you choose to install both data, software will working in Metric unit system.

2) If you got error message with first execute as follow:

Please solve this problem by follow this steps:

1. copy EKSV12.SMD from your execute folder (normally is c:\program

files\dreamsofts\cargo optimizer\EKSV12.SMD) to system32 folder in your
Microsoft Windows folder (normally c:\Windows\system32) and replace exist
file
2. Restart your computer.
3) If you ever use evaluation of old version before and got message with first
execute as follow:
Please email the Registration ID on Program Registration window to us
We will give you free Evaluation License Key to evaluate the latest version

If You install Cargo Optimizer by admin of Windows please also do this

1. Please share folder C:\Program Files\Dreamsofts\ to full access

2. Please share File C:\PDOXUSRS.NET to full access

For Windows Vista, after install software please do this step:

1. Right Click on icon Shortcut of Cargo Optimizer on Desktop, then click menu
Property
2. Go to Tab -> Compatibility -> Compatibility Mode checked on Run this
program in compatibility mode for "Windows XP SP2"
3. Checked on Run this program as Administrator
4. Click OK

After upgrade new version, you may need to import new language file to
make software display text correctly by click
menu Setting > Translation tap and click on Import button and choose file
c:\program files\dreamsofts\cargo optimizer\translation\language.xls
