• Light worsted weight yarn in green (50 g/140 m), white (leftover), light green (20
g/56 m)
• Metal wire/ pipe cleaner

Rnd 2-3: sc in all 5 st (5), fasten off and put aside. The thumb will be crocheted together with
the hand.

Ch 10. Stitches are worked around both sides of the foundation chain.
Rnd 1: start in second ch from hook, sc in next 8 st, 3 sc in next st. Continue on the other side
Rnd 29: sc in next 14 st, dec 3 st together, sc in next 7 st, dec 3 st together, sc in next 14 st,
dec 3 st together, sc in next 5 st, dec 3 st together (one st is borrowed from the next rnd) (38)
Rnd 31: sc in next 11 st, dec 3 st together, sc in next 3 st, dec 3 st together, sc in next 10 st,

Sew the eyes to the head between round 18 and 25 using white sewing thread. Attach safety
eyes by pressing and rotating the crochet hook through eye and head. Then insert pin and
close on the inside. Alternatively, cut off the pin and glue on the eye.
Cut two square sponges to fit inside the head (picture 1). Press the sponges together and
insert into head to create the square shape.
Rnd 32: sc in next 9 st, dec 3 st together, sc in next st, dec 3 st together, sc in next 8 st, dec 3
st together, sc in next st, dec 3 st together (one st is borrowed from the next rnd) (22)
Sew the open stitches together.

Teeth (make two - one set for each side of the head - in white yarn)
Ch 11
1st tooth: Skip the first chain from the hook, sc in next st, hdc in next st, dc in next st. Skip two
Ch 13. Stitches are worked around both sides of the foundation chain.
Rnd 1: start in second ch from hook, sc in next 11 st, 3 sc in next st. Continue on the other
Insert the head into the bottom mouth. Place teeth in the bottom mouth between the head's
8th and 14th round. The foundation chain of the teeth should not be visible. Sew the teeth
onto the side of the head using white sewing thread. Sew the bottom mouth to the head using
light green yarn or sewing thread.
Put metal wire inside the arms to shape the dinosaur. Sew arms, tails and legs to the body.
Put a metal wire from the body into the head, before sewing the head and body together.

Put aside. The tail will later be crocheted together with the body.
Rnd 2: inc in next st, sc in next st, inc in next 2 st, sc in next st, inc in next st (10)
Rnd 3: (inc in next st, sc in next 4 st) repeat two times (12)
Rnd 4: (inc in next st, sc in next 5 st) repeat two times (14)
Rnd 2-3: sc in all 6 st (6), close off three legs. Continue to crochet around legs and tail from
sc in next 4 st across leg 4, sc in next 4 st across leg 1 (21). See picture 2 showing the
stitches. Do not crochet in the greyed-out stitches. When legs and tail are crocheted together
Rnd 11-12: sc in all 5 st (5), close off, but leave a long tail for sewing the neck and head
together.

• Insert the hook into the front loop of the next three stitches. There are now 4 loops on
the hook.
• Yarn over and pull through the three loops. There are now 2 loops on the hook.
• Yarn over and pull through the 2 loops.
• Yarn over and insert the hook into the front loop of the next two stitches. There are
now 4 loops on the hook.
• Yarn over and pull through 2 loops. There are now 3 loops on the hook.
• Yarn over and pull through all 3 loops.
