➢ Hazardous Area
Capas was vulnerable to natural disasters, especially volcanic eruptions because it was near in
Mt. Pinatubo when it is still active and may erupt again. Also, some parts of its barangays are
flood prone (eg. Brg. Talaga, Brg Cristo Rey, and Santa Lucia)

➢ Over Population

Increasing population may result in more air and noise pollution and it makes the place more
compact and denser. It may also result in traffic congestion and a poor pedestrian experience
based on narrow streets, such as those in Brg. Aranguren.

➢ Over Mining

Capas City is rich in sand resources and it's all because of Quarry Industry that is some of the
main sources of income of locals. But sometimes, too much quarrying could result in can change
the chemistry of water resources.

➢Rise of New Clark City

The Aetas fear for their land, culture due to rise of New Clark City. It may affect their livelihood
because of land development in the areas of New Clark City.

➢Agriculture

Due to the development of some Areas in Capas, agricultural lands that is use for farming rice
and sugarcane are being occupied, this results in the decrease of the farming industry in Capas
as farmers tends to sell their lands due to bankruptcy.
