    Dear Audrey:

    This is to attest that you have successfully completed the requirements for the Diploma of
    Collegial Studies (D.E.C.)

    There are two steps in this process. Firstly, we will submit your name to the Champlain
    Regional College Board of Governors at the next meeting of the Board of Governors.
    Secondly, the Board will recommend that the Minister of Education issue your diploma.
    This process can require up to two to three months.

    If you are attending university, rest assured that we will have transmitted your Droit au
    D.E.C. to the Ministry of Education. This means that all universities in the Province of
    Quebec (except for Bishop's) access your grades and R-Score electronically. No official
    transcripts will be necessary.

    Once we receive your diploma from the government we will advise you. It is very important
    that you inform us of any address change.
