Οδηγός μαθήματος

Το μάθημα ασχολείται με νοηματοδοτήσεις και πρακτικές της εργασίας σε διαφορετικά

πλαίσια αγροτικής, βιομηχανικής και μεταβιομηχανικής παραγωγής και διερευνά το είδος
των ανθρωπολογικών ερωτημάτων που μπορούν να τεθούν μέσα από τη μελέτη της
εργασίας. Μέρος των ενοτήτων επικεντρώνεται στην ενσώματη εμπειρία της εργασίας και
του ρυθμού παραγωγής, σε ανισότητες και αποκλεισμούς στην εργασία, καθώς και στις
έννοιες του χρόνου, της τεχνολογίας, και της εξειδίκευσης. Μέσα από ανθρωπολογικές και
ιστοριογραφικές προσεγγίσεις, συζητάει τρόπους με τους οποίους ζητήματα εργασιακών
σχέσεων αλληλοπλέκονται με ζητήματα φύλου, εθνότητας, ηλικίας, συγγένειας και
οικειότητας. Επιπλέον, στο σύγχρονο πλαίσιο απορρύθμισης της εργασίας και υπεργολαβιών
της παγκόσμιας οικονομίας, οι συζητήσεις του μαθήματος συμπεριλαμβάνουν προσεγγίσεις
της κοινωνικής τάξης, της έννοιας της ευελιξίας, της ανεργίας και της επισφάλειας, του
υλικού και άυλου μόχθου, της απλήρωτης εργασίας, της εργασίας στον «καπιταλισμό
πλατφόρμας» και των εναλλακτικών μορφών παραγωγής.

1. Εισαγωγική συνάντηση. (12/03/2021)

Η πρώτη συνάντηση επικεντρώνεται στη συζήτηση των βασικών θεματικών του
μαθήματος. Τί είδους ερωτήματα μπορεί να θέσει μία ανθρωπολόγος της εργασίας;
Τί είδους ορισμούς μπορούμε να δώσουμε στην εργασία; Ποιά η σχέση τυπικής και
άτυπης εργασίας; Θα συζητήσουμε για τρόπους με τους οποίους μπορούμε να
μελετήσουμε κοινωνικές σχέσεις, ιεραρχίες και ανισότητες, μέσα από τη σκοπιά της
εργασίας, σε σχέση με πολιτικές της παραγωγής και πρακτικές εργασίας.
Πώς (ανα-)παράγονται κοινωνικές σχέσεις και πολιτισμικές πρακτικές μαζί με την
παραγωγή προϊόντων;
