LOW MELT ALLOYS

JA6
This is a lead free alloy that produces a bright silver colour. It is suitable for giftware, goblets and the like. Great for finer
jewellery like rings and delicate buckles.

Casting Range: 275 – 330°C

JA7
Excellent low cost alloy where relatively high weight is not a problem. It is suitable for larger objects over 50 mm wide
and over 5mm thick.

Casting range: 310 – 360°C

JA8
This alloy offers superior ductility than some other low melt alloys. It can be bent without breaking.

Casting range: 270 – 320°C

JA12
JA12 is a quality casting pewter suitable for small pieces of jewellery, key rings etc. It is an excellent casting alloy giving
fine definition, high strength and superior polishing characteristics. Contains a small amount of lead.

Casting range: 275 – 330°C
