"INFLUENCE OF MOTIVATIONAL FACTORS ON EMPLOYEE

PERFORMANCE"

Abstract: This paper is designed to analyze the factors of motivation an employer may utilize
for getting his employees emotionally, mentally, physically attached and engaged to boost
productivity.

The objective of the study is demonstrated to clearly show the purpose and benefits of the research
study.

Here, the job performance model and factors determining job performance have been depicted as
to show how motivation with KSAs and environment are interrelated to improve the work
performance.

The research has gone through the importance of motivation, how motivation stimulates the
employees’ performance, theories (knowledge) of motivation, needs theories to know the
requirement, expectations of employees and the theories work in motivating, role of motivational
theories that help us know and utilize the theories. It also illustrated how to motivate the different
groups of people for the purpose of reading the needs/mind of various groups of people and how
to medicate them.

This also represented how self-efficacy reflects motivation. Besides, the paper also illustrates
findings of Problems during motivating help guide the employers and managers may face during
motivating and developing employee performance. Performance is made up of multiple factors
like motivation, KSAs (knowledge, Skills and attitudes) and environment. Training is a possible
solution for KSAs deficiencies. But, as the Performance Formula indicates, training is not the
answer for all performance problems. Training alone will not solve motivation-related or
environment-related performance problems. Therefore, the trial combination of motivation, with
required KSAs and proper support of the environment can perform the best. In general findings, it
is shown how motivation significantly influences employee performance, responsibility, job
enrichment, job enlargement, job rotation, salary, promotion and ultimately productivity.

Finally, analyzing the aspects of motivation and related findings/outcomes, the paper concludes
with rational recommendations that will immensely help both employers and employees of the
world business.

Though it is not an easy task for the managers to motivate their employees, utmost endeavor has
been paid to this research paper to design the most probable aspects of theories (knowledge) that
may help the managers to get their workforces to be emotionally, attitudinally, mentally attached
and physically, behaviorally engaged and dedicated to boost the productivity of their
