The world we live in nowadays has vast unsettled social issues, among which there

are racism, homophobia, sexism, and so on. Yet this essay is going to talk about
particularly poverty. This problem involves people struggling in an extreme position,
which is something urging help from more prosperous countries, where the
unconsciousness of this dilemma is huge. To resolve this there are two viable
approaches.

First of all, charities could develop much more campaigns exposing the appalling
reality of the situation- for instance, advertisements are a good option though they
can also start a demonstration in the wealthy states so that more people are aware
of it, another option is organizing conferences informing and warning about it -or
people supporting these types of movements can increment the perception of it, as a
result, this could affect social media, which this leads to the second point to argue.

As said before social media is the other alternative to discuss. At this moment social
networks like Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram often spread information and news
happening now, so if the campaigns have enough impact on society, media would
start transmitting about this awful problem, also we can demonstrate for the indigents
just by twitting something to help them and provide them more hope for better living
conditions.

Nevertheless, turning to the media coverage system would benefit more this trouble
than the campaigns as social networks are something that is connected all over the
world and the change would be as fast as possible as everybody can witness
poverty and its reality.
