SAYWITE ARCHAEOLOGICAL COMPLEX

Located in the Concacha community, demarcation of Curahuasi, just 46 km from the Abancay and Cusco road.

This is the ritual axis related to agriculture and livestock. In his work, the Saywite stone stands out, which is a block 2.5
meters high. Among them, various sculptural works stand out that can reflect the geography and environment of the

STONE JAIL

It is located in the district of Haquira, province of Cotabambas, it is a stone platform 12 meters wide by 15 meters high.

In the central part there is a colonial-type justice court, in the lower middle part it has jails for men and women.

In ancient times it was used to imprison rustlers and dangerous criminals in the colony.

the natural jungle of intimpas, the beautiful long mountains, which are very suitable for adventure tourism. Currently, it
is part of a natural space.

The sanctuary protects endangered tree species: intimpas and other plants, as well as orchids, bromeliads, corn,
mashua, ferns, quinoa and others.

Among the fauna, wolves, deer, jaguars, pumas, spectacled bears, wild wild cats, skunks, Gabonese and owls stand out.

In the same way, you can enjoy its beautiful Angasccocha pool, an extraordinary small lagoon, and only three hours, the
Uspacchocha lagoon, the largest pool among other lagoons and the sacred snow-capped mountains of the Apurímac
region.
