MACHU PICCHU

• Traveling to the city of cusco is one of the best experiences a person can have. One of the best destinations to
visit in Peru is the city of Cusco due to the great amount of touristic places. In the first place is Machu Picchu,
this place is considered one of the seven modern wonders, is a construction built by large blocks of stone. this
is one of the destinations that any traveler should know. The trip can be made by train from the city of Cusco, in
this you can appreciate beautiful Andean or jungle landscapes. however it is possible to arrive walking along
the Inca trails, this is done by some travelers.
URUBAMBA

Another tourist place visited more frequently by tourists is Urubamba. This place is also known as the valley of the
Incas, in this place you can find beautiful natural landscapes, Inca ruins and traditional Andean villages. The Sacred
Valley of the Incas, is composed of numerous rivers that descend through ravines and small valleys; it possesses .

 SACSAYHUAMÁN

• This building is a ceremonial fortress made by the Incas, located two kilometers north of the city of
Cusco. It began to be built during the fifteenth century; however, it was completed in the sixteenth
century. This construction is the largest architectural work made by the Incas. It is possible to
appreciate that the fortress has a unique panoramic view of the surroundings, including the city of
Cusco. This was one of the main production points due to the richness of its lands and the place
where the best corn grain in Peru is produced. It is known that this tourist place is located two
kilometers from the city of Cusco and covers more than three thousand hectares of land.
CHOQUEQUIRAO

• This tourist site is described as a very important inca citadel, this citadel has an area of one hundred and fifty
square meters and is composed of buildings and terraces. historians say that this place was the cultural and
religious center of the inca culture. the name of this place means "cradle of gold". This place was one of the last
Inca refuges, and has beautiful natural landscapes, in which you can appreciate the Apurimac river. Many
travelers say that the hike to reach this place is a great experience, the trip consists of a walk of 30 km which
lasts several days.
CORICANCHA

this tourist site is located in the center of the city of cusco, the name means "temple of gold". this place is very
visited by tourists all year round. this was the main inca temple for the worship of the sun and was later destroyed
by the spanish during the colonization. on the basis of this building, the spanish built the church and convent of
Santo Domingo, currently there is a museum with all the inca pieces found in the excavations. At the entrance
door there are tour guides who offer a tour of the temple explaining every detail of the architecture, canvases and
other details.
