Through this activity, students write a text describing the tourist places of their cities using the grammar and
vocabulary learned in the unit.

Today we will talk about two beautiful cities that you must visit, we will talk about the beautiful city of
Arequipa and Cusco.
First we will talk about the city of Arequipa Arequipa
is a serene metropolis blessed with a
pleasant climate and eternal sunshine. Chief among
its many treasures is the palm-lined parade ground.
In Arequipa there is a great ancient museum called
Museo Santuarios Andinos where it houses the mummy
Juanita. In Arequipa there is a great tourist viewpoint
called Mirador de Yanahuara
Its elegant stone arches are carved with the prose and
poetry of many of Arequipa's notable writers perfect for
El Misti photos.
And finally Arequipa has many tourist restaurants, the
city of Arequipa stands out for its unique offer of
regional gastronomic specialties. Arequipeño dishes are
generally characterized by having rich, complex and
addictive flavors. The following recommended
restaurants serve typical Arequipa dishes.

Finally, we will talk about the city of Cusco.


Cusco is a city located in the Cusco region, in southern
Peru. It is the capital of the ancient Inca Empire and is
considered the most important city of the Inca culture. It
was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1983.
In this city there is a temperate and humid climate, with an
average annual temperature of 11°C.
In Cusco there is a great modern wonder called Machu
Picchu.
In Cusco there are four archaeological centers and
historical monuments, In Cusco there is a fusion of
indigenous and Spanish flavors.
Finally, in Cusco there are six museums, art galleries and
dance and folk music shows.
