I am writing this letter in context to your consideration of shutting down the ‘London City SportsCenter'
to reduce the expenses of exchequer. I along with many others are regular visitors of this sports club
and we generally take walks and play different sports in the complex to keep ourselves fit, during the
evenings.

Let me explain the reason as to why this center is of utmost importance to residents of the city
belonging to different age groups. Most of the working class people like to visit this complex center after
their work hours to involve themselves in physical activities and they also bring along their kids with
them. The kids participate in multifarious sports competitions which are organized on a daily basis and
imbibe the skills of team work and cooperation while playing, which otherwise would not be possible.
This center is also the hangout place of hundreds of senior citizens of our city, who meet and exchange
their thoughts with each others during the mornings and they have been doing so since the past 40
years.

Could you please reconsider your decision to shut down the SportsCenter? If the center is ceased to run,
most of the people of our city would be left shattered. Going to this place has not only become a
routine affair for thousands, but also has a sentimental attachment. People would be extremely
unhappy and would never accept this change.
