How to Nurture an

Abundance Mindset in Your Child

3 phrases we need to stop telling our children:

"We can't afford that."

Even when it's true, we want our children to see beyond the "here and now"
situation and teach them that it's always possible to improve where you're at.

Instead you can say: "That's not in our spending plan right now but let's
add it to our wishlist. We will see how it can work in the future."

"Money doesn't grow on trees."

Our kids develop a scarcity mindset and start believing there's not enough
money in the world.

Instead you can say: "There's a lot of money in the world and you can
learn how to earn as much as you need."

"Money doesn't buy happiness."

It's true that it doesn't buy happiness. But money is necessary for a
comfortable life and it can bring lots of joy through travel, experiences, etc.

Instead you can say: "Money is a good thing to have."

Here are 5 more positive phrases to help your child develop

an abundance mindset:
"Many people make money doing what they love."

"There is enough money in the world for everyone."

"We can do a lot of good with money."

"I am grateful for the money I have."

"We can always make a plan to figure out how we can afford something."
