Operational Guidance
Check the above items prior to use
Position the pallet truck carefully, ensuring the load is centred about the forks and is completely stable
With the forks in the lowest position, manoeuvre the truck so that it is adjacent to the lifting point
Ensure there is no obstruction before raising the load, or that the load cannot foul the action of the pallet truck when it is
raised
When lowering the lift with the forks loaded DO NOT yank up the control lever. Pull it up carefully and gradually so that
the load descends under complete control.
ALWAYS ENSURE THAT THE LIFTING EQUIPMENT IS SECURED FROM UNAUTHORISED OPERATION WHEN
LEFT UNATTENDED – if necessary, chock the wheels
Safety Precautions
DO NOT exceed the maximum working load for the truck – see specifications
DO NOT use on rough terrain
DO NOT transport personnel on the truck
DO NOT leave the truck on a gradient without first securely chocking the wheels
DO NOT use if wheels or castors are damaged – have them replaced immediately
ALWAYS ensure the load is evenly distributed on the forks and is perfectly stable before attempting to raise
All defective equipment must be removed from use until repaired or a suitable replacement supplied
DO NOT USE FAULTY EQUIPMENT
