Attention

● Depending on machine (machine model, type and KOMTRAX

terminal), the information machines can transmit are different.

●ID setting is required for Selected Machine Registration, Area

Registration and Landmark Registration. For this ID setting,
please inquire your supporting distributor.

●The screens are subjected to change without any prior notice

due to improvement phase.
* The screen explained in this manual is as of Aug 2016

●All the images shown in this manual are obtained by using

Google Chrome. There is a case the screens look different when
using a different browser.

1. Input ID・Password and click “Login”

Please use ID and PW which

are provided by your distributor.

Please do not lose your account

information nor provide it to
somebody else.

Current account can be

used to access New
KOMTRAX.

2. Save ID・Password

If you save your ID and password, it

will automatically appear when you
log in next time.

Machine Search

１．Machine search is available in Top screen.

Machine can be searched by model, type, serial
number, customer name, customer machine number

• For number and alphabet,

please use one-byte character.
• Search can be done with
Uppercase/Lowercase

• Fuzzy search is available.

Example: If you input “PC” and click “Search”, Machines which “PC” is included for model,
type, serial number, customer, customer machine number can be searched.

• The system allows multiple input search.

Example: PC 8

To view more units,

By clicking machine tile, machine detail screen

appears. The Latest machine info can be checked.

“7 Days” and “31 Days”.

To check the latest info only, select

“3 Days”.

If the same caution has occurred in
the past, only latest information is
displayed.

Caution History.

• Caution History for the last 15 months are stored in KOMTRAX Server.
Caution History older than 15 months is not displayed.

Notice

Notice is displayed. In case something happens(e.g.

communication problem), the status can be checked.

Click “Setting” to
control display items.

Display items can be selected.

Item with blue is displayed.
This setting will be saved for
the next time log in.

* Available notice category

Periodic Maintenance

Click Periodic Maintenance Tab to view periodic

maintenance items and remaining hours.

Click Replacement Achievement to view

Replacement history.

• Remaining hours are calculated based on monitor replacement reset info.

• Machines which do not have maintenance info, the info does not appear in the screen.
• Periodic maintenance items are different depending on machine model.

Maintenance history per item can be checked.

• Default Display period is set as 1 year.

• To check history from the delivery date, please select display
period.

Specific item can be selected to

view maintenance history.
Working Summary
Screen Navigation

Working Hour History and Working Status are

available in the pull down menu.

Select items from pull down menu.

※Information displayed on the screen depending on
machine model.

You can select if you would like to see

monthly or daily base. Data display
period also can be selected.
*Maximum 12 months can be selected for Monthly
data and maximum 31 days can be selected for daily
data.

Data displayed on the screen can be

printed.

Working Hour History

Working Hour History can be displayed.

◆ Monthly
Monthly working days・working status are displayed.

◆ Daily
Daily working map and working status are displayed.

Working Status

SMR, Working hours, usage trend are displayed.

Data to display on the graph can be selected. By clicking each item below the graph,
the selected item appears on the graph.

※Information displayed on the screen depending on machine model.

Operation mode, Travel mode, Gear speed history

are displayed.

Energy Saving Guidance/ AIS Status are displayed.

Intake temperature is displayed.

※Outside temperature and atmospheric pressure are measured by sensor

installed on machines. Therefore, it is different from weather condition data.

• A number of units to display per page can be selected.

Customer’s machines are listed up.

Data to display
In order to improve display speed in Machine List and Usage screen,
Machine list is replicated around 5:00 am and 3:00 pm.
The data obtained time can be checked by referring to time stamp.

The latest data is displayed below items

Longitude/Latitude, Lock status, Machine location on the map

Machine detail screen provides all data in real time.

Please check the latest machine information in machine detail screen.

Download

Machine list info can be downloaded.

Not all information is displayed in Machine List screen.
When the machine list is downloaded, information which is not displayed in the
screen can be included.

In Download Setting, the

information to download can be
selected.

When download is completed, the file appears

on the left side bottom.

Download by excel format is

recommended.

If excel format is selected,

list is downloaded with
filtering setting.

Edit Attribute Info

Machine attribute can be added/edited in Machine List.

Click a machine you wish to

add attribute info.

Click Edit.

Input attribute info

And click Save.

How to use Map

Various map operation can be done in the machine list

screen.

◆ To show a specific machine on the center of map.

Click to display the

machine on the center of
the map.

Use “＋” “－” button to change the scale but the machine icon will stay in
the center of map.

◆ Map Icon

Zoom up the map and machine icon appears.

Depending on machine model, the icon also
changes.

By clicking machine icon.

Machine info appears.

Machine List Navigation

Various map operation can be done in the machine list

screen.
◆ Map and List Synchronization
Machines displayed on the map can be listed up.

Zoom in and filter machines.

Click “Synchronize Map and
List” to match machines in
the list and displayed on the
map.

Click “Sync Clear”

to cancel
synchronization.

◆ Label Display
Click Show menu and select label to display.
 Search Function
Setting

Search Function
Select “Edit Search Condition” from Setting Menu.

There are two patterns for search.

◆ Quick search：to input search condition anytime. Search condition is saved for
the next log in.
◆ Search Setting：Name search condition and this setting van be saved. This
setting is useful when you frequently use the same search condition . Every
time you need to search, you can select the search setting.

• When you are in list screen, the Quick Search is selected as default.
• Fleet search condition can be used in all fleet menu.

How to use Search Setting

For example, if you would like to work on idling When you would like to search the
stop, name your search setting as Idling Stop. target machines for idling stop, select
Then input 0-70 for actual working ratio and “idling stop” setting.

Working Hour Trend

Monthly・Daily Working Trend is displayed.

◆ Monthly Working Trend
Select “Monthly” and monthly working trend for past 1 year appears.
Display period can be changed within 12 months.

◆ Daily Working Trend

Select “Daily” and daily working trend for past 1 month appears.
Display period can be changed within 31 days.
Usage

Usage screen displays working hours, usage, fuel

consumption for specified period.
◆ Monthly Usage
Usage data for 1 year maximum is displayed.
Data display period can be changed between one month ~ 12 months.

◆ Daily Usage
Usage data for 31 days maximum is displayed.
Data display period can be changed between 1 day ~31 days.
Notice
Notice

Notice transmitted from machines can be checked

in Notice Screen.

Notice displayed on the screen is different

machine by machine.

Select specific notice

from pull down menu.

Click Area Status tub.

Area In/Out status is displayed.

IN/OUT judgement is based on

GPS data transmitted from
machine. Although area
registration is completed, IN/OUT
info will not displayed until machine
transmits daily data/travel dispatch.

Select “IN” to display only machines comes into area.

Select target area and check machines are IN/OUT status.

How to register jobsite

There are two methods to register Jobsite.

1. Input manually in machine attribute field.
2. Jobsite can be set up as area.

Display options are Jobsite or

Area.

1) How to input “Jobsite” manually in machine attribute info.

Machines per jobsite are displayed.
This can be used when machines are working in fixed jobsite.

Add Jobsite name

Jobsite name can be added

by clicking “Edit” attribute info
in Machine List.

2) Set up area on the map.

Machines working inside of area are displayed.
This can be used when machines are moving between jobsite.

Area can be added in

Management Menu.

By registering group area, machines’ area IN/OUT

status can be checked.

1. Input Area name.

2. Click the map over the area you would like to create group area.

How to activate the area setting

In order to have area IN/OUT info,

the setting needs to be activated.

Registered group area is displayed as below.

Select “Active” and

“Notice” to start using
Group Area.

Area can be activated from Group Area List.

How to register

In Landmark Registration, you can add buildings

near machines on the map as icon.

1. Input Landmark Name.

2. Select icon to show as Landmark.
By clicking Selection label, a list of icon is displayed.

32 type of icons are available.

Please select one that is
appropriate.

3. Click where you would like to add Landmark on the map.

When the icon is

selected, the selected
icon appears on the
screen.

Click “Register”.
Or click “Continue” if you
wish to add another
landmark.
 4. Input the rest of information.

Latitude and Longitude are

automatically reflected when icon is
set up on the map.

After Landmark is registered, it can be checked in

Landmark List.
Selected Machine Group Management
Overview

This function is to register specific machines to

create a group. The group can be searched from
the search pattern.

There are two methods to register Machine Group.

1) Register one by one from the Machine List.
2) Register by Adding Condition.

Selected Machine Group Management
Individual Registration

Machines can be added in the group one by one

from the Machine List.

Click “Settings” and select

“Selected Group
Management”.

Input a group name and

click “ADD”.

Click “Individual Registration

“ then “Save”.

To remove from a group,

click ★ mark.

Click ★mark of the machine

you wish to add in the group

Condition Registration

Machines can be added in the group by setting

condition.

Click “Settings” and select

“Selected Group
Management”.

Input a group name and

click “ADD”.

Select condition and click
