SMP OF ABB MP100 WEIGHING SYSTEM for TUNDISH CAR IN

MC#1&2 IN CCP

SAFETY POINTS :

1. Ensure all PPEs are used


2. Always use proper tools for maintenance.
3. At least two persons should go together
4. Be attentive during move through Staircase/ladder. Ensure three points contact during
movement through staircase/ladder
5. Inform person in shift room before going to job for tracking purpose.
6. Always check for any leakage current, live electrical wire ,chance for electrical
Hazard before starting jobs.

7. Ensure sufficient illumination at work place.


8. Ensure no water logging at working floors.
9. Don’t work on power line with wetted shoes
10. Look for the overhead cranes which are moving.
STEPS:-
1. Press key <P> for selection of program function, and enter the number 25 for selection
of scale.

2. Press <SEND> key. The display shown ‘Sn _ _’. ‘Sn’ represents the scale number. Select
the scale number 1 for car-1 or 2 for car-2 for respective TUNDISH Weighing System in
dotted line. Press the <SEND> key to confirm.

3. Press the key <P> for selection of program function and type the number 31, for
selection of calibration with a TEST WEIGHT.

4. Press the <SEND> key. The display shows PAUSE for approximately 6 seconds. The
display then shows 6 dotted lines.

5. Load the Tundish Car with TEST WEIGHT. Note down the values displayed in the LDU
and COPSV monitor for car in loaded condition.

6. Enter the value of the TEST WEIGHT in the Operator’s Unit.


7. The display presents PAUSE during weighing and calculation. When the calculation is
completed and the values are stored in EPROM, the display presents ‘END CAL’.
8. If the display shows ‘END CAL’.
9. Note down the values displayed in the LDU and COPSV monitor for TEST WEIGHT loaded
car after calibration.

10. Unload the TEST WEIGHT and Note down the values displayed in the LDU and COPSV
monitor for empty car.

11. Put the ‘CODE LOCK’ key of Processor Board is in ‘BLOCK’ position
