arise when an INSTRUCTION is issued by the
PROJECT CA or ENGINEER.

This will enable the Site Commercial

Manager to Issue the Necessary Contract
Notice to the CA or ENGINEER.
Thus avoiding any possibility of your future
claim being TIME BARRED

And ALL without the involvement of the

SITE PLANNER.
This is the Blank Spreadsheet.

You Enter the necessary DATA in the outlined boxes.

The DATES and NUMBERS behind the Italic TEXT are generated automatically from hidden formulas.
The Result in Cell C-20 Will Change Until the Final Piece of Information is Entered.
Stage 1.
Edit the Text in Cell E-3 to add the Instruction Reference Number.
This is for Audit Purposes which will Serve as a Cross Reference Bundle for any Future CLAIM Report
Then Add the Date of the Instruction in Cell D-4
Stage 2.
Use your Skill and Experience to Add the Estimated Time Required in Rows D – 5 to 11, this MUST be in Calendar Days.
The Date in Cell D-12 is Calculated Automatically.
The Number of Days for Public Holidays and Weekends that Occur Between the Dates in Cell D-4 & D-12 are Produced by
a Formula.
Stage 3.
Open the Spreadsheet labelled “Calculations”.
This Where You will have to Type In ALL the Dates of the Public Holidays & Weekends that are on Your Bar-chart Calendar.
There is NO shortcut for this Task but you Only Have to Do It once, because you Save the File After Each Prediction.
It is a Rolling Process
Stage 4.
When the Final Dates have been Typed into Cells D – 15: 17 & 18 the Process is Complete and your Contract Notice can
be Issued.
Stage 5.
If however there is no Need for Design and Approval and 0 is placed in Cells D – 7 & 8 the Text “No Notice” Appears in
Cell D – 20 and No Further Action is required.

Evolved into a Delay Analyst.
