without trouble at all. Secondly, may sholawat and salam for our Prophet Muhammad SAW

Hello everybody, my name is Fitri Alina Putri Sugianto. I have a story for you, entitled “ Muhammad Al Fatih, the
conqueror of Constantinople.” I will tell you about the greatest Islamic hero. Here is the story goes!

Its king is the best of kings and its soldiers are the best of soldiers. Sultan Muhammad Al Fatih was born on March
30, 1432. Edine, Turkey, was the Ottoman Empire and the son of Sultan Murad II. Since childhood, Muhammad al-
Fatih has studied war, government, and how to conquer Constantinople with his two older brothers, but his two
older brothers died and Muhammad al-Fatih was left alone to become the strength of Sultan Murad II.

Sheikh Ahmad Qurani and Shaykh Syamsudin are two of the greatest teachers, making al-Fatih study religion and be
wise in political science, psychology, the arts of combat, and warfare. Muhammad Al Fatih has also mastered at least
7 languages such as Arabic, Turkish, Greek, this has made him honored and respected by the local community.

At the age of 19, Muhammad Al-Fatih was appointed as the 7th Ottoman caliph after Sultan Murad II died, and this
time when Muhammad Al-Fatih continued the greatest struggle of the previous kings to liberate Constantinople. At
the age of 21 years old there were several steps before Sultan Muhammad Al Fatih attacked the city, the first he
investigated and analyzed the previous failures that could not conquer the city, he looked for ways to revive the
strength and prosperity of Islam. Second, Sultan Muhammad Al Fatih found that there were two forces in the local
community

The first has four thick layered walls making it difficult to redeem in the city and the second there is an iron chain
along the bosphorus which makes it difficult for Islamic royal ships to carry out attacks on the city of constantinople.
After analyzing Then sultan Muhammad Al Fatih made a cannon capable of shooting the enemy as far as 1.5
kilometers and capable of accommodating cannonballs weighing 300-1600 kg. On April 19, 1453 Muhammad Al Fatih
moved Constantinople. When he got there, he and his soldiers prayed to ask for help from Allah subhanahu
wata'ala.

After 48 days, Islam launched an attack on the city walls with cannons but failed because other kingdoms had helped
the constantinople by bringing their 5 strongest troops. This situation did not make Sultan Muhammad Al Fatih
despair.

Muhammad Al Fatih ordered 72 ships to be directed by land, so Constantinople was surprised. Then the Muslims
continued to attack the city of constantinople and in the end, Muhammad Al Fatih's troops won.

The first thing that was done after the victory of Sultan Muhammad Al Fatih was to change the name of the city of
Constantinople to Istanbul. secondly changing the church into the Hagia Sofia mosque and thirdly Muhammad Al
Fatih re-expanding Islamic preaching. Alhamdulillah, Sultan Muhammad al-Fatih succeeded in expanding the
message of Islam and succeeded in conquering the city of Constantinople.
