Its possible that someone you love or know is or at one point was addicted to drugs.
Drug addiction is growing rapidly here in the united states and throughout the world. It effects
everyone not just one person but everyone regardless of age. According to a recent study in
2012 there were 23 million people addicted to drugs.
Today I am going to talk about some of the warning signs of drug addiction, then some
effects drug addiction have and finally some steps to overcome drug addiction.
Drug addiction is a disease that damages addicts, their families, communities, the
economy, and society. Addiction has a widespread reach: from dealing with unpredictable and
often dangerous addicts at home to the costs incurred by society as a whole. As the population
of addicts rises and the average age of an addict is younger, society is forced to deal with a
pressing matter. Addiction is no longer limited to the poor and underprivileged; society can no
longer ignore this problem.
As a student we must know how to be informed what are the possible experience if you
take illegal drugs. And we must not do that for the sake of Fame and to escape reality. Because
at the end of the we are the who will ruined by drugs.
