BUSINESS PITCH QUESTIONS

PROBLEM 1. What problem is your business trying to solve? Explain what you
saw as a problem, or an opportunity you noticed that led you to start your
business. This could be a market gap or a pain point for customers.

PRODUCT 2. What is your product or service? Describe what it looks like, and how it
will work. Highlight the benefits your customers stand to gain from using
your product or service

POTENTIAL 3. What is the market opportunity? Tell us how big your market is, how
many customers you can sell to, or how much money you can make by
solving the problem you've found.

4. What already exists in the market to solve this stated problem? List
out what your competitors are already offering, and show how your product
or service is better (it could be in terms of price, quality, convenience,
proximity, performance, etc.)

PROMOTION 5. How will you sell your business offering? Show how you will use both
online and offline channels to get people to know about your business. Tell
us how you will get your business's product or service to the market.

PRICING AND 6. What is the average price of your product or service, in $USD? If you
PROFITABILITY haven't decided on a price yet, explain how you will go about deciding the
price.

7. How will you make profit? Tell us how many customers you think you'll
sell to in a year, or how much you think they'll use your product in a year.
Give a summary of how much it will cost you in $USD to make and sell
your products and services.

PEOPLE 8. Who is on your business team? Introduce yourself, your co-founders (if
you have any), and the key people who work for you. Mention the relevant
experience or education you and your core team have that equips you to run
this business.

PLANS 9. What stage is your business currently in? Is it still an idea or have you
started selling? If so, describe how long you have been in business and
what you have achieved – sales, new customers, etc. - till date.

10. What are the next steps for your business? Mention the milestones you
hope to accomplish over the next two years. Your milestones may be to
grow revenue or profit, expand branches, purchase new equipment, grow
customers, build staff skills, or hire new staff. Use specific numbers to
describe the milestones you hope to attain.
