B) Solve the following subquestions. (Any Two) 6

i) Prove that : Opposite angle of cyclic quadrilateral are supplementary.

ii) Draw a circle of radius 3.4 cm and centre E. Take point F on the circle. Take another
point A such that E - F - A and FA = 4.1 cm. Draw a tangents to the circle from point A.

iii) A (h, – 6), B (2, 3) and C (– 6, k) are the co-ordinates of vertices of a triangle whose
centroid is G (1, 5) find h and k.

iv) Prove that, sin4q – cos4q = 1 – 2 cos2q.

4. Solve the following subquestions. (Any Two) 8

i) In DABC, ÐABC = 1350. Prove that, AC2 = AB2 + BC2 + 4A (DABC).

ii) Draw a triangle ABC with side BC = 6 cm ÐB = 450 and ÐA = 1000. Then construct a

triangle whose sides are times the corresponding sides of DABC.

iii) The line segment AB is divided into five congruent part at P, Q, R and S such that A - P - Q -
R - S - B. If point Q (12, 14) and S (4, 18) are given. Find the co-ordinates of A, P, R and B.

5. Solve the following subquestions. (Any One) 3

i) Two circles which are not congruent touch externally. The sum of their areas is 130p cm2
and the distance between their centres is 14 cm. Find the radii of the circles.
