Introduction
Understanding how to reconcile competing purposes and
values is a sign of practical knowledge. While acknowledging
that uncertain hazards cannot be completely removed, this
form of wisdom instructs us on how to handle them.Phronesis,
which is a type of wisdom or intelligence appropriate to
practical action in certain situations, is another word for
practical wisdom. Due to the ingenuity and conventions of past
indigenous tribes in Africa, African culture has influenced the
world in numerous ways. The foundation for governing a
peaceful and harmonious community is African practical
wisdom.

Types of African
Practical wisdom
Our polyculture theory of wisdom holds that people accept
many moral standards in accordance with their subjective,
societal, and personal worldviews and then combine these
standards to solve issues and advance the long-term survival
and prosperity of civilization (Li et al., 2019). In other words, a
person's idea of wisdom is greatly influenced by their own
worldview and beliefs, which are influenced by their cultural
background. To create a more thorough understanding of
wisdom, it is essential to incorporate the essence of the
various cultural conceptions that already exist (Ferrari &
Alhosseini, 2019).

of which lack scientific support, including cancer, psychiatric
disorders, high blood pressure, cholera, the majority of venereal
diseases, epilepsy, asthma, eczema, fever, anxiety, depression,
benign prostatic hyperplasia, urinary tract infections, gout, and
even Ebola.
