General Guidelines:
1. Harrison’s Hour lectures has now been changed to weekly 10 to 20-item quizzes, passing
score is at 70% or 14/20 points.
2. Quizzes are scheduled during Monday at 8:30-9:00am after endorsement

3. All residents are required to take the quizzes from 1 -3 years
4. ER organics and ICU monday post-duties are required to take the quizzes until Tuesday
12pm the following day, failure to take exam corresponds to a score of 0 (zero)
5. If a Monday quiz falls on a holiday/hospital/department activity, quiz will be taken on the
Tuesday the following day
6. Year-round scheduled topics will be posted at the office
7. Monthly exams per subspecialty and 2 comprehensive exams will be taken on a scheduled
basis, all residents are also required to take the exam. Passing grade is 75.
8. Quizzes and subspecialty exams final grade will be the average of all the exams
9. Failure to pass at least 1/3 of the total quizzes and/or subspec exams, at least 1 compre
exam, or have an average compre grade of <75% will be subjected to a removal exam.

10. Series review sessions every last Friday of the month will be provided for the 3 years In
preparation for the PSBIM
