Chris... Chris, just to comment on Jim being at the D-lab just to make sure that somebody,
maybe every month just reaches out to him for a half an hour call, just for an update.
Okay, yep.
Now we just wanna make sure, the people that are at the D-lab, they feel that we're
interested in how they're developing, what they're learning, what insights they can share
with us, because again, I don't want people to end up with this kind of the RISE culture that
we had before where it was like, "Thank God, they're no longer in the division. Let's kind of
get rid of them." What we have to understand is that digitalization, as I said, let's think hard
about the next wave of talent that we want to put through this lab because it is going to be
the future. These people are gonna have skills that a lot of the rest of the organization won't
have, and these will be the people in the future that will be very demanding, and pushing the
rest of the organization to keep up with the digital agenda.
Yep. Absolutely, Chris. Yep.
Okay, great, all right, thanks Chris. And I think, again, keep pushing Carl on the West Coast. I
think that the flavor division should be the first division that has a digital platform, a digital
commercial platform and the West Coast should be that. And I would say to Paulo, let's also
think, Paulo, about Caravaggio, and how could that be something that we would operate more
on a digital basis going forward? So, again, lets think about parts of the business where
digitalization may make sense. A brand new M&A that we're bringing into the organization, it
might make sense for us to leverage our strength into that business in a different way and
bring some scale because of our thinking around digital. I'd like each region, really, to have
something that they're working on and I think that we should be possibly asking Luca as well
on distribution to say, "What are we gonna do with a digital platform to manage our global
network of distributors?"
So Chris on the end-to-end that Toddy and I were talking about, we did have Carl come back
and present to the North American flavor leadershipteam and we also shared with Rory. So,
Rory's updated.
Yes. Yeah, and I think possibly with Sharon through the Flex, we should think about
creating a community of digitally-minded employees and have somebody hosting them and
getting together with them, and giving feedback back through to Eric Saracchi's group. So,
maybe if Rory is the person, maybe he could set up that digital awareness community, even if
it's just ad hoc.Yeah?
