Dragons de Montfort is a new powerful and Vintage:

Collection.
The winery has been family-owned for
several generations. It’s a model boutique Blend:
winery in Puisseguin village in charge by
80% Merlot
father and son.
Dragons de Montfort is produced in a 10% Cabernet Sauvignon
limited quantity, but with a high quality. The 10% Cabernet Franc
wine is mature and tasty, which can trace
their roots in the region back to the fifth
century. Cellaring potential:
Up to 10 years
Vineyard & location:
The winery is only 10 kilometers from the
Unesco heritage village of Saint Emilion
where many world-famous chateaux are
located.
The average age of the vines is 30 years,
and they can produce the berries usually
contain a higher skin-to-juice ratio, and so
create more concentrated wine.

Harvest, vinification & ageing:


Grape juice is macerated and fermented in
stainless steel vats in order to preserve the
primary aromas of fruits. The wine is ageing
in oak barrels during 12 months, which brings
to wine spicy notes, structure as well as
roundness on the palate.

Tasting:
Dragons de Montfort shows a beautiful ruby
color with aromas of cherry, spicy and
leather notes. The mouth is rich with silky
and elegant tannins. It makes an excellent
accompaniment to beef, lamb, game and
hard cheeses.
