me shelter, covver the hingee air gap area
a along the
sides of 102” (8’-6”) wide trailers with swing-out do oors. They a are available in a standarrd trailer verssion and a
veersion for reffrigerated trailers. With trailers

1. Unit height (as me entioned abov ve) is subject to review w with 15’-0” minimum heigh ht off grade the typical
standaard.
2. Unit width is typically either 11’-6
6” or 12’-0”
3. Unit projection,
p takking into acc count bumperr protection, should allow w for 19-1/2” to 20” of penetration.
Where e penetration is less than or o more than the typical sttandard an E Engineering re eview will be necessary
and the Hinge Guarrd may not be e applicable.
4. FF-100 00 FlexFrame e units are taapered by 6” only (due to the mechaniics of the framing). An E Engineering
revieww is required to
o determine whether
w FlexF
Frame units aare applicable e for sloped appproaches.
5. TS-100 00 Rigid Framme units will beb tapered fo or decline or i ncline slopess 1” for every 1% of grade starting at
2%.

8. FlexFrrame units ca an be applied on door size es up to 11’-55” wide x 12’--0” high whilee Rigid Frame e units can
be app plied on door sizes up to 11’-5”
1 wide x 15’-0” high. TS-1000 Rig gid Frame uniits can be supplied with
the Integrated AQS-900 AquaSh hield option.

Hook Length:
The stock lenggth of the Hing ok is 114-3/4”. Each hook has a 10-1/2
ge Guard hoo 2” diagonal cu ut on its top in
nside edge.

1. On dock heights off 48” and belo ow the hook starts

s at 50-1 /2” off grade and runs up to 13’ 9-1/4”” off grade.
This means
m that on
n shorter dock heights the e bottom of th he hook will bbe substantia ally above the
e bottom of
the sidde curtain. Thhis is done too match coverrage requirem ments establisshed by the ttypical bed he eight of the
trailer.
2. On dock heights ab bove 48” the bottom
b of the hook starts aat 2-1/2” abovve the bottom m of the side ccurtain and
extend ds up to 13’ 9--1/4” off grade. This mean ns that for hig
gher docks the e overall leng
gth of the hoo
ok will need
to be shortened.
