In 1983 Mr. Mohammad Hamad Al-Atiqi established the Interlock Block Factory as a division of Mohammad Hamad Al-Atigi Establishment, to produce interlock blocks and kerbstone in response to the market needs of high quality concrete products in Kuwait. The company was awarded its first government project in 1984, to supply ‘one million square meters of Interlock tiles for the Kuwait Sea Front Project, which extends from Shuwaikh to Messila. Today, Al-Atiqi Industries LLC is considered a leading group of factories in the region's industrial sector.
