THE BLACK
DEATH.
By Eshan
WHAT IS
THE BLACK
DEATH?
•The black death was a bubonic plague spreading across the
world ending millions of life. It is one of the most fatal plagues in
history as it ended many operations and people. It also killed
over 200 million people during its time.
HOW IT
STARTED.
In October 1347, a ship from Crimea and Asia docked in Messina,
Sicily. What aboard the ship were not only sailors but rats. They
werent even rats themself. They were rats that were infected with
the deadly plague The Black Death which was contracted from fleas.
They spread over europe quick and soon over the whole world. That
is when it all began to decline as 50% of the population was wiped
out in europe.
HOW DID IT
AFFECT
EVERYDAY LIFE?
It affected towns as there were no farmers and laborors to work for
them and give them food. The poor suffered and people had no food
due to farmers being killed. People fled towns and stayed away from
society and trading skyrocketed and was to expensive, later it stopped
the feudal system..
HOW DID IT DO
GOOD FOR
PEOPLE?
Peasents got increased wages which helped them and it also started
modern labour movements, more hygeine, increased medicine steps and
a what so new approach to life.
HOW MANY
PEOPLE DIED?
It killed around 75-200 Million people. this wiped out alot of people and
reported that 100,000 of paris population was wiped out.

my fellow smegma would be proud

HOW LONG DID
THE BLACK
DEATH LAST FOR?
The black death hit in waves, these waves only hit
2 times and it lasted for 1347 to 1351. So in 8 years
the black death killed up to 60% of the
population.
WHEN DID THE
BLACK DEATH
END?
The black death lasted for 1347 to 1351. So in 8 years the black death
killed up to 60% of the population. Again.
