THE BLACK

DEATH
by Avin Bhartia
 The Black Death was a time of suffering and
deaths because of the environment and the
community.
 People who lived in Europe would be infected
by a very harmful plague (The Black Death).
This plague would be carried by rats with
infectious fleas.

WHAT WAS THE BLACK

DEATH?
WHAT WERE THE MAIN
CAUSES OF THE BLACK
DEATH?
 The main causes/symptoms were-

 Fever

 Fatigue

 Sleeplessness

 Intolerance to light

 Delirium

 Pain in the back and limbs.

HOW DID THE PLAGUE
SPREAD SO EASILY AND
QUICKLY?
 The reason why the plague spread so quickly is because merchants
used to have the plague, and they would spread it by trading on roads
that other merchants would normally trade on.
 Another reason is that boats used to have rats with the fleas, so they
would infect everyone on the boat, and the people on the boat would
spread it to the people on the place they are going to.
 The Black Death marked social and economic
growth and development, reducing people
THE IMPACT interacting and countries in Britain developing
OF THE less.

PLAGUE ON  Between 75 to 200 MILLION people died to

the Black Death.
BRITAIN  It also killed many people through the course
of 500 years.
 I hope to see you later!
