INTRODUCTION

. A well-designed building is one that is

structurally sound, aesthetically pleasing,
and functional. The structure uses few
resources to provide more than was asked
for.

A post-occupancy evaluation (POE) entails

systematically assessing buildings that are
currently occupied from the viewpoint of the
space's users (Ahmadi et al., 2016)

Methodology

The study was conducted to determine users’ satisfaction

and building performance of The Centre of Excellence. The
Post Occupancy Evaluation of the Facility consists of three
parts:

1) Visual Evaluation,
2) 2) Interviews and
3) 3) Occupants’ perception by questionnaire survey.

The first part, the visual evaluation, involved the analysis of existing
structure; and a walk-through observational technique to
investigate the possible POE problems/issues and take photos. The
second part was to get information on the building envelop and
performance and the third part was to obtain occupants’
perception of facility performance and satisfaction.
