PATTERN
This band can be woven by beginners, but I strongly recommend that you
watch my Inkle series on Youtube first, which will show you how to set up
your loom, change colours and weave on your inkle loom.
You can get away with weaving this band on an Inklette loom, I wove the
project on my Inkle loom.
If you are interested in using the exact same yarns that I have for this
project, here are the details:
If you purchase via my links, I will receive a small affiliate commission, which
allows me to offer free projects, thank you!
Step 1. Warp your loom using either the weaving draft or the colour warping
instructions on the next page. I warped my loom for the shortest warp, which
gave me a band of 59 x almost but not quite 1.5 inches.
Step 4. Weave your band until the original knots reach the top peg above the
heddles and you can’t advance any more.
Step 5. Release tension, cut your band off the loom and secure your raw edges
(I serge them).
Step 6. You do not need to wet finish, but you can press your band with a warm
iron on the cotton setting if it needs a little help to sit flat. Your band is now
ready to use!
