I Have a more then 8 years of extensive experience as Quality Control on in Highway

Construction under the guidance of MORTH & specifications. My Job profile includes
mainly design, supervision of construction & quality control activities for Roads & Bridges
work. Construction Concrete pavements maintaining high standard of quality control as
quality assurance. Well co-ordination with client, consultant and sub contractors.

The brief explanation about my experience is as follows:

A. Testing of Soil:
Grain Size Analysis, Plasticity index, Modified proctor Compaction test
for MDD & OMC, Free Swelling Index, CBR value in 96 hrs soaked condition at
different energy levels, Moisture content determination and Field Dry Density test
by Sand Replacement method Soil .

B. Testing of GSB:
Gradation, Plasticity Index, Modified proctor test, Flakiness Elongation,
Aggregate Impact Value, Water absorption,Ten percent fines value, Los-Angeles
Abrasion Test,CBR test, Field density test by Sand Replacement method.

C. Testing of WMM:
Gradation, Plasticity Index, Modified proctor test, Flakiness Elongation,
Aggregate Impact Value, Water absorption,Ten percent fines value, Los-Angeles
Abrasion Test,CBR test, Field density test by Sand Replacement method.

E. Testing of Aggregates:
Aggregate Impact Value, Water absorption of Aggregate, Flakiness &
Elongation, and Specific gravity. Carry out various type of trial Mix Design of
various Grades of Concrete used in Construction works of PCC,RCC& Road as
per MORT&H Specification

F. Testing of Cement:
Testing of cement like Fineness, Consistency, Setting Time, Soundness and
Compressive Strength of Cement as per IS Specification.
G. Mix Mix design using conventional and modified DLC & PQC preparation &
density checking, Core cutting & density checking

H. Mix design: Concrete Mix Design, GSB , WMM , DLC, PQC , DBM , BC
Design Etc.

I. Handling of laboratory Equipments:

Compressive Testing Machine, CBR Testing Machine, Casagranda Apparatus,
RMM,Calibration , RMC plant & Lab Equipment.

Responsibilities
● Preparation of all types of test reports with respect to the relevant Bureau
of Indian Standard.
● To carry out all types of laboratory testing for Soil, aggregate, cement
concrete work by required frequency as per MORT&H Specification.
● Maintain records for each section of the works on a layer by layer basis.
● Sampling and testing of concrete at site.
● Sampling and testing of Soil, GSB, and WMM , DLC,PQC , DBM ,BC
etc.
● Checking of materials of stock yards and every lots of cement etc
● Preparation of Monthly Progress reports.
● Calibration of Rapid Moisture Meter.
● Calibration of Sand pouring Cylinder.
● Responsible for testing of Coarse, Fine aggregate, Cement, and Boulder etc and
reporting as per relevant IS codes and MORT&H Specification.
