Central Philippine Tourism expo 2023

The Department of Tourism, Region 2 participated in the three-day Central Philippines Tourism Expo
organized by the six regional offices of the Department of Tourism in the Central Philippines namely
CALABARZON, MIMAROPA, BICOL REGION, EASTERN VISAYAS, CENTRAL VISAYAS, and WESTERN
VISAYAS at the Iloilo Convention Center.

From June 16 to June 19, but we only joined the 16th day of June,
the vibrant city of Iloilo played host to an extraordinary bringing together regions from
across the Philippines for an unforgettable experience. The Central Philippines Tourism
Expo showcased the nation's rich diversity, captivating visitors with its breathtaking
landscapes, vibrant cultures, and warm hospitality.

I researched about the background of the said event so as I've read this is the third
installation of the expos being organized by the Department of Tourism following the
success of the North Luzon Tourism Expo and Mindanao Tourism Expo to reintroduce to
the world the beauty of the Philippines beyond its natural tourist attractions.

Can you imagine that over 30 exhibitors gathered at the Iloilo Convention Center from
June 16 to 18 to give the public a view and taste of their unique tourism distinction such as the seafood
of Capiz, and the famous sweet Guimaras Mangoes, and many more! The booths are so awesome with
their delicacies and their very own "sikat" food of their country.

Various performers from the Central Philippine regions danced on the streets during the Parade of
Festivals at the grand opening of the Central Philippines Tourism Expo! Alot of tribes showcase their
talents. dancers and perfomers from the six regions and Dinagyang Festival featured Tribu Salognon
kang Molave still the best for me.
