National Transmission and Despatch Company (NTDC) "the Employer", responsible for development and
control of power transmission system in the country, invites sealed bids through "Single Stage One
Envelope Procedure" on NationalCompetitive Bidding (NCB) basis from eligible firms as defined under lB-3
of lnstructions to Bidders of the Bidding Documents for the following scope of work
Civil works, Erection, Stringing, Testing & Commissioning for 5 No JKD Type Towers
SCOPE OF WORK by Dismantling the existing EG Type Towers at Guddu, Uch-1, D.M.Jamali & Sibbi
Grid Station [work of Dismantling, Erection & Stringing shall be executed during
shutdown of 220KV T, 220KV T/Line Uch-D.M.Jamali- Sibbil.

ELIGIBILITY 1. Tl'e contractors / firms should be registered with PEC/NTDC and renewed / valid up to
date in the relevant category with original certificate'
Z. lncome Tax clearance certificate & return filed with lncome Tax Depaftment for
fi nanci al year 2027-2022.
3. The bidder as a main contractor [as single entity or as JV partner] must have
completed construction contracts comprising of construction of conventional/pile
foundations, erection of towers, stringing, testing and commissioning of 220KV or high
voltage bundled T/Lines of at least 15KM strung by controlled tension method durinB
last five years. Such transmission lines must have been operating successfully for at
least 02 years prior to deadline for submission of bid.
4. ln case the bid is submitted by a joint venture, lead partner shall meet the above-
mentioned criteria. Each JV partner, other than the lead partner, must have completed
as a main contractor or approved sub-contractor, construction contractors comprising
of construction of conventional/pile foundations, erection of towers, stringing, testing
and commissioning of 22OKV or high voltage bundled T/Lines of at least L0KM strung
by controlled tension method during last 05 years. Such transmission lines must have
been operating successfullv for at least 02 vears prior to deadiir:e for s:,lb'-rssion cf
bid.
5. Bidding document will be issued only to the proprietor of firm or his legally Authorized
representative with CNIC (ln original).
6. All the Govt. taxes (Federal / Provincial) will be applicable as per relevant Govt
Notifications.
CONDITIONS f. sidding will be conducted through National competitive bidding (NCB).
2. NTDC will award the contract to the lowest evaluated and technically responsive
bidder on overall basis.
3. The NTDC / Employer have the right to reject all bids as per PPRA Rule # 33 (1) of 2004.
4. Each page of the bidding documents / drawings shall be signed and stamped by the
bidder.
