HERO -He was born on 21 OCTOBER 1982 in Bagan Serai,Perak. -He is the third Malaysian men's single shuttler after Rashid Sidek and Roslin Hashim to achieve such a ranking.He is the only Malaysian shuttler to hold the ranking for more than two weeks. -In his early years,Datuk Lee Chong Wei favoured basketball,however his mother soon forbade him from the game due to the searing heat of the outdoor basketball court.
-Lee began to learn Badminton at
