Patcham High School – Cover Supervisor (September 2020- Present)
Working at Patcham High School has allowed me to interact with a range of pupils and develop an
understanding of the strategies needed to develop attainment and raise achievement within the
classroom. I found teaching an array of pupils insightful and can confidently teach a range of subjects
whilst developing positive outcomes and engage all pupils.
Perins School/Henry Beaufort School – Trainee Physical Education Teacher (September 2019-
July 2020)
I played an important role in the success of the Perins Rugby programme, during my time here the
school recognised my highly organised personality and I was given the opportunity to coach the under
13’s team. I was also given the opportunity to officiate a selection of these matches. Together with my
colleagues I helped develop weekly training plans for the under 13’s, here I understood the
importance of working within a team and working towards a common goal.
Romsey Rugby Club – Volunteer Coach (June 2018- September 2020)

When I coach, I believe each session needs to be engaging and stimulating for the players to ensure
they learn, offering them a variety of ways to develop their skills. I regularly helped with planning and
delivering local festivals at under 13’s level. This involves creating links with other clubs to organise
games. I also officiated many matches to improve my knowledge as a referee, something I would love
to do more in the future. During my time at Romsey I have captained the first team, I believe these
roles have given me the opportunity to inspire other players.
Bassett Green Primary School – Teaching Assistant (January 2019 – July 2019)

Working at Basset Green Primary School taught me the importance of communication and ways to
interact with a wide range of pupils. I try to develop an environment where my lesson are based on an
honest and integral way of teaching, in order for pupils to understand what is expected in my lessons.
This experience has meant I am able to take an analytical approach to behaviors and develop positive
outcomes.

Youth Options – Lead Youth Support Worker (August 2017- January 2019)

During my time at Youth Options I ran my own course called Catalyst, this course was designed to
assist 16-24-year olds back into work/education. I ran a four-week course which involved supporting
young people to improve their engagement in education training or employment. I had to use my
creative ability to overcome barriers and challenges with a range of pupils, I built strong relationships
with schools, colleges and employers securing positive outcomes for my caseload. Running this
course gave me the chance to build strong professional relationships with young people and other
organisations doing similar things.
Osborne School – Teaching Assistant (November 2016- August 2017)
I believe working at Osborne School (a special educational need school) has meant I am able to relate
well with young people and have developed a broad knowledge of what effects achievement in the
classroom. This experience means I can apply different strategies to raise achievement across all
abilities in the classroom something I will passionately bring to all my lessons. Alongside this I will
continue to develop high aspirations and high standards in my lessons, creating a better environment
and better outcomes for all pupils.
