Profile

I am a dedicated, resourceful and goal-driven professional educator with a solid commitment to the
social and academic growth and development of every child. I have more than 9 years experience of
teaching Mathematics across the ability range from KS 3 to KS 5 in England and over 1year of
experience in Abu Dhabi.
I believe in education empowering young people of today to embrace life –long learning and use it as
a tool to make objective decisions in their lives. Learning in educational institutions should be about
enhancing the ways in which students understand, experience, or conceptualise the rapidly changing
world around them, and the values of the School reflect this. Learning should be dynamic, interactive,
and relevant; I am of the opinion that what the students learn during Mathematics lessons they should
be able to take into the wider world and apply their learnt knowledge. I want to share my knowledge
and positive experience of learning to help young people achieve their aspirations.
I believe that the key to achieving success also lies in working co-operatively and effectively within
teams. I have worked with people in a variety of situations and have a sincere interest in enabling
students, regardless of their backgrounds to develop as lifelong learners and achieve their full
potential. I have a strong commitment to teaching and learning.
