How to formulate your hair butter

Types of butter

1. Creamy butter

Creamy butter

MATERIALS
* 25 g shea butter
* 20 g cocoa butter
* 7 g BTMS
* 5 g broccoli seed oil
* 5 castor
L 20 g aloe oil I make my
L 5 g babassu oil
* 5 argon oil
* 5 g avocado oil
* 1 g essential oils I used a mix of lavender and rosemary.
* 1 g vitamin E
* 1 g natural preservative used Euxyl K903.

INSTRUCTIONS

1. Melt the shea butter and coca butter with the BTMS over a double
boiler.
2. Once melted, remove from heat. Add in the carrier oils (castor, aloe
oil, argan oil, and avocado oil).Stir until combined.
3. Place the mixture in the freezer to cool it rapidly.
(This is to keep the butters from getting grainy in texture.)
4. After a few minutes, remove the butter from the freezer, and scrape
down the sides of a bowl with a spatula. Stir the ingredients. Place the
mixture back in the freezer.

5. Once the temperature has reduced to below


100°F/40°C, add in the rest of the ingredients (the vitamin E, essential
oils, and preservative).
Combine all ingredients well.

1. Place the mixture in the freezer again for another few minutes.
2. After a few minutes have passed, remove it from the freezer and use
a spatula to scrape down the sides of the bowl again. Mix everything
together and you can now begin to whip up the mixture with an electric
beater.
1. Continue to cycle between adding the mixture to the freezer and
taking it out to whip it until the butter holds its shape.
2. Once you've gotten to a whipped, solid texture, you can transfer your
mixture to glass jars for storage

WHIPPED MANGO BUTTER FOR BODY AND HAIR

MANGO HAIR BUTTER RECIPE


FIRST STEP
Melt mango butter, coconut oil, and cocoa butter in a double boiler,
stirring occasionally.
SECOND STEP
Remove it from the heat, let it cool a bit, add the Chamomille infused oil
and vitamin E, essential oil, and mix it gently.
THIRD STEP
Let the mixture cool down to
solidify. You can refrigerate it or freeze it for an hour. Check it is solid
enough to whip it.
FOURTH STEP
Use a hand mixer or blender to
whip it to the desired volume until the butter turns creamy.
FIFTH STEP
With the help of a spatula, remove the mixture from the sides of the
bowl and whip it again.

SIXTH STEP
transfer the whipped mango butter to the glass container with a spoon.

Gently massage this mango butter into your scalp and cover your hair
with a warm towel for an hour.
After rinsing it with a natural shampoo.
Use it as a leave-in conditioner and apply it to the ends of damp hair

Homemade hair growth oil

This herbal hair growth oil with calendula restores nutrients to your
strands and scalp and strengthens the roots which ultimately increases
hair production and thickness.

Materials
• 2 Tbsp (1 oz) fractionated Coconut Oil
• 2 tbsp (1 oz) calendula oil
• ½ Tbsp (0,25 oz) Castor Oil
• 1 tbsp (0.5 oz) apricot seed oil
Tools
• spray bottle
• wooden comb

Instructions
1. Combine fractionated Coconut Oil, calendula oil, Castor Oil, and
apricot seed oil in a bowl. Mix it well and pour it into a dropper bottle or
glass jar with a narrow neck.

2. Warm up the mixture before applying it to your scalp. Warm oils


enable deeper penetration through cuticles and the scalp and are more
effective.

3. Place a few drops of hair growth oil on your fingertips. Rub between
your fingers and gently massage into your scalp. Start at your front
hairline and finish at your neck. If you have long hair, split them into
small parts and avoid missing any spots.

4. After you finish with your scalp (10 minutes), gently apply the hair
growth oil till the end of your hair.

5. The message will encourage blood flow and helps relieve stress. Use a
scalp massager to remove dead skin cells.

6. Wrap your hair with a warm plain cotton cloth (avoid using a towel as
it is rough and can break your hair when it is soaked in oil). This helps to
open up pores and cuticles and allow deeper penetration into your scalp
and hair follicles.

7. Leave it overnight or for several hours

8. Wash it with shampoo the next day with lukewarm water, making
sure it is cleaned thoroughly.

Instructions
1. Melt the shea butter and cocoa butter with the Emulsifying wax
BTMS and Cetearyl Alcohol over a double boiler.
2. Once melted, remove from heat.
3. Pour the distilled water into a bowl and add aloe vera juice also
glycerin.
4. Pour the butter mixture into the distilled mixture.
5. Then emulsify for 10min to mix properly.
6. Leave it for 30min to stick up.
7. Next is to add your castor oil, infused oil, Optiphen, and Vitamin
E.
8. Then mix again

Sticky butter
with this ingredient are the same as the Creamy butter; the difference is
BEE WAX, use in place of BTMS

1. Melt the shea butter and cocoa butter with the bee wax over a
double boiler.
2. Once melted, remove from heat. Add in the carrier oils (castor, aloe
oil, argan oil, and avocado oil).Stir until combined.
3. Place the mixture in the freezer to cool it rapidly.
