TAMBA, ERICA RANCE M3 LESSON 1 – CHECK IN ACTIVITY

BSMT2H NSTP 1

Check in Activity:
Write a reflection on these guide questions;
1. “ What are three (3) of your personal values that you like most? Why?”
- The three personal traits I like most are: caring about family, being easy to talk to, and being
friendly. I like my three personal values because, as a fun fact about me, I always put others
before myself. Being a friendly person like me is like having a friend who is just a phone call
away. I'm always here for you; just give me a call. Even if we aren't that close, if you ask me for
help with your schoolwork and I can, I will.
2. “ What are three (3) of your personal values that you like least? Why?”
- The three personal qualities I dislike the most are timidity, egotism, and laziness. I am acquiring
knowledge and adapting to these personal ideals. When I engage in recitations in class, I assist
myself in boosting my self-confidence by practicing them. Even though I was capable, when I
wished to command someone, I wished to remain silent or complete the task by myself out of
arrogance.
3. As an NSTP student, how would these values help/hinder you to become a leader?
- If I am given the responsibility of leading a group, it will be as the leader of a team. First, I
would like to hear what ideas they have to offer, and if they don't have any, I might provide some
of my own and then inquire as to whether or not they would like them. In such a case, I will have
to consider my other alternatives to arrive at a solution that is more satisfactory.
4. Which of the CEU Core Values are evident to you?
- What does this virtue mean to us, and why is it so important in our day-to-day lives? Valuing
others is one of the fundamental virtues that the CEU school teaches its students, and it is a well-
known virtue that is also a significant building block of society in general. But what exactly is
this virtue? Humans are very social beings, and as a result, we commonly establish close
relationships with one another. However, the ability to place value on the lives of others is what
truly sets us apart from the other species that inhabit this planet. Although other animals are
capable of this behavior on occasion, what truly sets humans apart as the most social species is
our capacity to truly appreciate one another, even if that person is not related to us by blood. The
ability to place a high value on other people is not only essential to achieving success but also
beneficial to us as individuals since the people we care about tend to develop a favorable
impression of us when we demonstrate our concern for them. One can move up the success
ladder by putting the needs of others before their own. This cliche is also the reason why certain
people, such as politicians, acquire the occupations they are most qualified for. The capacity to
recognize the worth of others is one of the most valuable skills possessed by CEU instructors and
students, and it is the primary factor that contributes to the institution's widespread acclaim. The
teachers at this school have always respected the students who attend it while also valuing the
students' education. Because the professors appreciate and respect their students, they help them
with their education and tell them what to expect in each subject.
