PRACTICES AMONG SENIOR
HIGH SCHOOL INSTRUCRTOR
IN HYBRID LEARNING’’
RESEARCH GAP
This research wants to determine the effectiveness of interactive instructional practices among Senior High School Instructors in hybrid
learning. Interactive instructional practices is a contemporary method of teaching by teachers in order to make sure that student learn
more by having an interactive engagement in the classroom. Traditional teachers use traditional teaching practices in which the teacher
only discusses the lesson to his/her students. Various scholars have considered traditional teaching as the method developing
theoretical thinking, whereas interactive teaching (modern) develops practical skills, pragmatist and able to be oriented to the
uncontrolled development of the world. This research will focus on the effectiveness of interactive instructional practices in hybrid
learning to know if this teaching practice is very effective or not effective in hybrid learning set – up.
CONCEPTUAL FRAMEWORK
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE
• The purpose of this study is to determine the effectiveness of interactive instructional practices among senior high school
instructors in hybrid learning of University of the Visayas – Dalaguete Campus for 2021 – 2022.
• Specifically, this study seeks to answer the following questions:
1.What is the demographic profile of the instructors in terms of:
1.1Age;
1.2Gender;
1.3Course Taught; and
1.4Years of Teaching

2.What is the level of effectiveness of interactive instructional practices among instructors in hybrid learning in terms of the
following:
2.1Incorporating Flexibility;
2.2Stimulating Interaction;
2.3Facilitating Student’s Learning Processes; and
2.4Fostering on Effective Climate
3.Is interactive instructional practices effective in hybrid learning?

4.What is the intervention plan?


SIGNIFICANCE OF THE STUDY
• The following will benefit from the said study:
• To the students – this study would help them gain knowledge about hybrid learning and how
interactive teaching practices of the teachers help them learn more effectively.
• To the teachers – this study will provide information and interactive instructional practices and
how it can affect the students in hybrid learning.
• To parents – this study would provide data about interactive instructional practices that would
give them insights on how it can help their children in hybrid learning set – up.
• To the researchers – this study will provide information that could be useful to their field as
future future educators.
• To Future Researchers – this study will provide data that could be used as reference to future
research.
• To the Community – this study will help them understand more about interactive instructional
practices and how learning works in hybrid learning.
• To the School Administration – this study could be used as basis in developing interactive
instructional practices in hybrid learning.
METHODOLOGY

The study used descriptive research design. Descriptive


design is a quantitative research method that attempts to
collect quantifiable information for statistical analysis of the
population sample. It is a popular market research tool that
allows us to collect, observe and measure data without
manipulating the variables
FINDINGS
• Majority of the Senior High School instructors are Males
between the age of 25 – 34 years old. Majority of them teach
Science and have 4 – 6 years of teaching experience.
• The four areas of interactive instructional practices showed that
two areas are effective which are: Incorporating Flexibility and
Facilitating Students Learning Processes. Two areas are very
effective which are: Stimulating Interactions and Fostering an
Effective Climate.
• For the hypothesis, it revealed that interactive instructional
practices has a positive effect in hybrid learning.
CONCLUSION
After the researchers thorough study of the gathered data, the researchers’
findings revealed the following conclusions:
• The weighted mean of the four areas of interactive instructional practices is
3.37, which is interpreated as Very Effective. It means that the interactive
instructional practices is “Very Effective” in hybrid learning.
• The study was realistic through the gathered survey and the instructors
thorougly answered all the possible questions. The researchers concluded that
SHS teachers in UV – Dalaguete have an effective teaching method in hybrid
learning.
• At the end of the study, this research entitled “Effectiveness of Interactive
Instructional Practices among Senior High School Instructors in Hybrid Learning”
may be helpful as a reference for the next researcher that has a similar study
along with ours.
RECCOMENDATION
After conducting a survey, the researchers came up with the
following recommendations about maintaining and enhancement the
positive effects of Interactive Instructional Practices in hybrid
learning:
• The teachers should maintain in encouraging students’
participation, using questions that stimulate response, discussion,
and hands – on experience.
• The teachers should maintain to set – up a work group
environment.
•  The teachers can incorporate brainstorming to students, inquiry
– based learning, project – based learning and flipped classroom.
