COVENANT HOUR OF PRAYER

EXHORTATION LINES
Monday, 7th – Saturday, August 4, 2023
Introduction:
 Thank God for the impact of Operation By All Means and as we all know God has not called the
seeds of Jacob to seek Him in vain – Isa. 49:19
Isa 49:19
19
For thy waste and thy desolate places, and the land of thy destruction, shall even
now be too narrow by reason of the inhabitants, and they that swallowed thee up
shall be far away.

 God is not looking who to use, but who to bless – Exo. 23:25-26
Ex 23:25-26
25
And ye shall serve the LORD your God, and he shall bless thy bread, and thy water;
and I will take sickness away from the midst of thee. 26 There shall nothing cast their
young, nor be barren, in thy land: the number of thy days I will fulfil.

 God is not looking for who to humiliate, but who to honour – Jhn 12:26
John 12:26
26
If any man serve me, let him follow me; and where I am, there shall also my servant
be: if any man serve me, him will my Father honour.

The issue with many of us is not knowing where to stand to take full delivery of our rewards.
Our exhortation line this week is captioned: ‘Where to Stand to Take Full Delivery of our Rewards’
Monday | Where to Stand to Take Full Delivery of our Rewards.
 We must be found on duty serving the Lord – Mat. 24:45-47/ Gal. 6:7-8
Matt 24:45-47
45
Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his lord hath made ruler over his
household, to give them meat in due season? 46 Blessed is that servant, whom his lord
when he cometh shall find so doing. 47 Verily I say unto you, That he shall make him
ruler over all his goods.
Gal 6:7-8
7
Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also
reap. 8 For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that
soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.

 To wander from our duty post is to suffer devastation in the place of commendation
– Luk. 12:45-46
Luke 12:45-46
45
But and if that servant say in his heart, My lord delayeth his coming; and shall begin
to beat the menservants and maidens, and to eat and drink, and to be drunken; 46 The
lord of that servant will come in a day when he looketh not for him, and at an hour
when he is not aware, and will cut him in sunder, and will appoint him his portion with
the unbelievers.

 This is why we need to continue to pray for the grace for continuity – Act. 26:22/ Phi. 4:16
Acts 26:22
22
Having therefore obtained help of God, I continue unto this day, witnessing both to
small and great, saying none other things than those which the prophets and Moses
did say should come:
Phil 4:16
16
For even in Thessalonica ye sent once and again unto my necessity.

 In addition, we must ensure that our fruits abide – Jhn 15:16

John 15:16
16
Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go
and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask
of the Father in my name, he may give it you.
Tuesday | Where to Stand to Take Full Delivery of our Rewards.
 We must be fully persuaded of our rewards – Rom. 4:21/ Heb. 10:35
Rom 4:21
21
And being fully persuaded that, what he had promised, he was able also to perform.
Heb 10:35
35
Cast not away therefore your confidence, which hath great recompence of reward.

 Abraham was fully persuaded that what God had promised, he was able to perform – Isa. 51:1-3/
Jhn. 8:39
Isa 51:1-3
Hearken to me, ye that follow after righteousness, ye that seek the LORD: look unto the
rock whence ye are hewn, and to the hole of the pit whence ye are digged. 2 Look unto
Abraham your father, and unto Sarah that bare you: for I called him alone, and
blessed him, and increased him. 3 For the LORD shall comfort Zion: he will comfort all
her waste places; and he will make her wilderness like Eden, and her desert like the
garden of the LORD; joy and gladness shall be found therein, thanksgiving, and the
voice of melody.
John 8:39
39
They answered and said unto him, Abraham is our father. Jesus saith unto them, If
ye were Abraham's children, ye would do the works of Abraham.

 We are only entitled to be partakers of the reward that we expect – Pro. 23:18/ 1 Cor. 9:9-10
Prov 23:18
18
For surely there is an end; and thine expectation shall not be cut off.
1 Cor 9:9-10
9
For it is written in the law of Moses, Thou shalt not muzzle the mouth of the ox that
treadeth out the corn. Doth God take care for oxen? 10 Or saith he it altogether for our
sakes? For our sakes, no doubt, this is written: that he that ploweth should plow in
hope; and that he that thresheth in hope should be partaker of his hope.

 In addition, we must continue to encourage and ensure that our new converts are regular in
church services – Psa. 84:7/ Jer. 3:115-16
Ps 84:7
7
They go from strength to strength, every one of them in Zion appeareth before God.
Jer 3:15-16
15
And I will give you pastors according to mine heart, which shall feed you with
knowledge and understanding. 16 And it shall come to pass, when ye be multiplied and
increased in the land, in those days, saith the LORD, they shall say no more, The ark of
the covenant of the LORD: neither shall it come to mind: neither shall they remember it;
neither shall they visit it; neither shall that be done any more.
Wednesday | Where to Stand to Take Full Delivery of our Rewards.
 We must be met rejoicing in the Lord – Hab. 3:17-19/ Phi. 4:4/ 1 Thes. 5:16
Hab 3:17-19
17
Although the fig tree shall not blossom, neither shall fruit be in the vines; the labour
of the olive shall fail, and the fields shall yield no meat; the flock shall be cut off from
the fold, and there shall be no herd in the stalls: 18 Yet I will rejoice in the LORD, I will
joy in the God of my salvation. 19 The LORD God is my strength, and he will make my
feet like hinds' feet, and he will make me to walk upon mine high places.
Phil 4:4
4
Rejoice in the Lord alway: and again I say, Rejoice.
1 Thess 5:16
16
Rejoice evermore.

 Our harvest of rewards will be lost when Joy is out of place – Deut. 28:47-48/ Joel 1:12
Deut 28:47-48
47
Because thou servedst not the LORD thy God with joyfulness, and with gladness of
heart, for the abundance of all things; 48 Therefore shalt thou serve thine enemies
which the LORD shall send against thee, in hunger, and in thirst, and in nakedness, and
in want of all things: and he shall put a yoke of iron upon thy neck, until he have
destroyed thee.
Joel 1:12
12
The vine is dried up, and the fig tree languisheth; the pomegranate tree, the palm
tree also, and the apple tree, even all the trees of the field, are withered: because joy
is withered away from the sons of men.

 Our reward must meet us rejoicing and not mourning nor complaining – Num. 11:1/ 1 Cor. 10:10/
Phi. 4:4
Num 11:1
And when the people complained, it displeased the LORD: and the LORD heard it; and
his anger was kindled; and the fire of the LORD burnt among them, and consumed
them that were in the uttermost parts of the camp.
1 Cor 10:10
10
Neither murmur ye, as some of them also murmured, and were destroyed of the
destroyer.
Phil 4:4
4
Rejoice in the Lord alway: and again I say, Rejoice.

 In addition, we must encourage and ensure that our New Converts attend Believers Foundation
Class – Psa. 11:3/ Isa. 5:13
Ps 11:3
3
If the foundations be destroyed, what can the righteous do?
Isa 5:13
13
Therefore my people are gone into captivity, because they have no knowledge: and
their honourable men are famished, and their multitude dried up with thirst.
Thursday | Where to Stand to Take Full Delivery of our Rewards.
 We must be committed to thanking God for the integrity of His Word – 1 Thes. 5:18/ Heb. 10:36
1 Thess 5:18
18
In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.
Heb 10:36
36
For ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of God, ye might
receive the promise.

 God never lies, His Words are ‘‘yea and amen’’ in Him – Tit. 1:2/ 2 Cor. 1:20
Titus 1:2
2
In hope of eternal life, which God, that cannot lie, promised before the world began;
2 Cor 1:20
20
For all the promises of God in him are yea, and in him Amen, unto the glory of God
by us.

 When we give God thanks, we remind him of what remains – Luk. 17:17-19
Luke 17:17-19
17
And Jesus answering said, Were there not ten cleansed? but where are the nine? 18
There are not found that returned to give glory to God, save this stranger. 19 And he
said unto him, Arise, go thy way: thy faith hath made thee whole.

 Furthermore, we must encourage and ensure that our new converts belong to Winners’ Satellite
Fellowship, the grass root family unit of the church – Act. 2:46/ Rom. 16:5
Acts 2:46
46
And they, continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from
house to house, did eat their meat with gladness and singleness of heart,
Rom 16:5
5
Likewise greet the church that is in their house. Salute my wellbeloved Epaenetus,
who is the firstfruits of Achaia unto Christ.
Friday | Where to Stand to Take Full Delivery of our Rewards.
 We must continue to engage in thanksgivings for the preservation of our New Converts, both in
the faith and in this Church for life – Mal. 2:1-3/ Jer. 30:19-21/ Jhn 6:6-11
Mal 2:1-3
And now, O ye priests, this commandment is for you. 2 If ye will not hear, and if ye will
not lay it to heart, to give glory unto my name, saith the LORD of hosts, I will even
send a curse upon you, and I will curse your blessings: yea, I have cursed them already,
because ye do not lay it to heart. 3 Behold, I will corrupt your seed, and spread dung
upon your faces, even the dung of your solemn feasts; and one shall take you away
with it.
Jer 30:19-21
19
And out of them shall proceed thanksgiving and the voice of them that make merry:
and I will multiply them, and they shall not be few; I will also glorify them, and they
shall not be small. 20 Their children also shall be as aforetime, and their congregation
shall be established before me, and I will punish all that oppress them. 21 And their
nobles shall be of themselves, and their governor shall proceed from the midst of
them; and I will cause him to draw near, and he shall approach unto me: for who is
this that engaged his heart to approach unto me? saith the LORD.
John 6:6-11
6
And this he said to prove him: for he himself knew what he would do. 7 Philip
answered him, Two hundred pennyworth of bread is not sufficient for them, that every
one of them may take a little. 8 One of his disciples, Andrew, Simon Peter's brother,
saith unto him, 9 There is a lad here, which hath five barley loaves, and two small
fishes: but what are they among so many? 10 And Jesus said, Make the men sit down.
Now there was much grass in the place. So the men sat down, in number about five
thousand. 11 And Jesus took the loaves; and when he had given thanks, he distributed
to the disciples, and the disciples to them that were set down; and likewise of the
fishes as much as they would.

 We must endeavour to maintain regular contact with our New Converts concerning their well-
being – Phi. 2:19-20/ Pro. 24:23
Phil 2:19-20
19
But I trust in the Lord Jesus to send Timotheus shortly unto you, that I also may be of
good comfort, when I know your state. 20 For I have no man likeminded, who will
naturally care for your state.
Prov 24:23
23
These things also belong to the wise. It is not good to have respect of persons in
judgment.

 Tireless commitment to see our fruits abide provokes fearful favour – Psa. 102:13-14
Ps 102:13-14
13
Thou shalt arise, and have mercy upon Zion: for the time to favour her, yea, the set
time, is come. 14 For thy servants take pleasure in her stones, and favour the dust
thereof.
 Furthermore, we must encourage Our New Converts to join any service group of their choice in
the Church, so they can begin to enjoy the blessings that accrue from service – Exo. 23:25/Jn 12:24
Ex 23:25
25
And ye shall serve the LORD your God, and he shall bless thy bread, and thy water;
and I will take sickness away from the midst of thee.
John 12:24
24
Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it
abideth alone: but if it die, it bringeth forth much fruit.
Saturday | Where to Stand to Take Full Delivery of our Rewards.
 We must be met praising God – Rom. 4:20/ Psa. 67:5-7
Rom 4:20
20
He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith,
giving glory to God;
Ps 67:5-7
5
Let the people praise thee, O God; let all the people praise thee. 6 Then shall the earth
yield her increase; and God, even our own God, shall bless us. 7 God shall bless us; and
all the ends of the earth shall fear him.

 We must continue to praise God for the validity of His Word on all subject matters concerning
our rewards – Psa. 56:4/10
Ps 56:4
4
In God I will praise his word, in God I have put my trust; I will not fear what flesh can
do unto me.
Ps 56:10
10
In God will I praise his word: in the LORD will I praise his word.

 Praising God is the fruit of our lips that guarantees full returns from our labour – Pro. 12:14/
Pro. 13:12/ Heb. 13:15
Prov 12:14
14
A man shall be satisfied with good by the fruit of his mouth: and the recompence of
a man's hands shall be rendered unto him.
Prov 13:12
12
Hope deferred maketh the heart sick: but when the desire cometh, it is a tree of life.
Heb 13:15
15
By him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the
fruit of our lips giving thanks to his name.

 In addition, we must encourage and ensure that our New Converts are baptized in water,
because it is a requirement for walking in the newness of life – Mat. 3:15/ Rom. 6:4
Matt 3:15
15
And Jesus answering said unto him, Suffer it to be so now: for thus it becometh us to
fulfil all righteousness. Then he suffered him.
Rom 6:4
4
Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was
raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in
newness of life.
