Expressing coherent and cohesive ideas
Coherence in speech or writing is defined as the connection of ideas,
while cohesion is effective grammatical linking words that lead to one’s
speech being more connected and logical.
So, if you intend to make your speech sound clear, organized and
connected, it should contain cohesive features or link words. These help
you structure your response and show clear relationships between your
ideas.
Using language according to the form

In general, form refers to the shape and structure of something. It can

also mean the organization, placement and relationship between things.
As such, language form refers to the so-called surface features of
language and how these are arranged. The rules that govern how
particular language features are arranged are the grammar of the
language.
Using language according to the content

Content is simply defined as the meaning of information.

Language contains words to describe virtually everything
that we know about our world. These words describe
objects, actions, events, and concepts.
Using language according to the context

Context can refer to a circumstance that shape the setting for an

event, idea or statement and in terms of which it can be fully
understood. For example, the term historical context refers to the
period time in which something took place or was created. If we are
looking at a past custom or practice, we cannot understand it properly
without looking at the historical context.
