Request for clarification of Ambiguity

(and for reimbursement of extra cost)

May we draw your attention to an apparent ambiguity between the description given in
Bill of Quantities Item …………………and the contradictory specification item page
number…………. (or say between figured and scaled dimensions for …………..).

We therefore request clarification of this discrepancy pursuant to Clause 5.2 of the

Conditions and if you deem necessary the issue of an instruction.

Should any such instruction cause extra cost, which could not have been reasonably
foreseen we assume that you will be certifying an additional sum to cover the amount
involved.
