Dear Sir,

The Contractor hereby makes reference to the Engineer`s instruction No.100 on 02nd
August 2023, cited (1) hereinabove.

After a preliminary review of the said document, the contractor hereby states that the
implementation of the additional works instructed through the Engineer`s Instruction
No.100 with the approved Programmme/related Key Dates and will require the increase
of the Contract Price.

The Contractor is currently analyzing the impact that this event might generate upon the
Programme/related Key Dates and Time for Completion. Full particulars of any
additional payment claimed as a result thereof, including the value of the works to be
executed and any disruption and/or prolongation costs, will be assessed and submitted
shortly.

Therefore, this letter is grounded on and issued under the provisions of Sub-clause
2.1[Instructions of the Engineer], Sub-clause 14 [Programmme], Sub-Clause 14.4 [Key
Dates Schedule] Sub clause 44 [Extension of Time for completion], Clause 51
[Variations] Clause 52 [Valuation of Variation] and sub clause 53.1 [Notice of Claims] of
the Contract.

THIS ENGINEER’S INSTRUCTION IS NOT VALID UNLESS SIGNED IN THE SPACE PROVIDED BY AUTHORISED
REPRESENTATIVES OF THE ENGINEER
INSTRUCTION

As per Clients’s requirements, you are advised to submit the quotation for supply & installation of 2 no’s S/S perforated
cover plate (removable type) - 2 no's, grade 316 minimum, size as per site measurements.

Please do the needful, obtain necessary approval & proceed immediately.
